WHO WE ARE

Asbury Elementary School is located on Sterrettania Road on a common campus with Walnut Creek Middle School. Built in 2004, Asbury houses grades K-5 with approximately 500 students. Our administration, teachers, and staff work extremely hard providing a rigorous world class education. Our students receive daily instruction in English Language Arts, Writing, and Math. They also receive instruction in Science, Social Studies, Physical Education, Music, and Art.  In addition, Asbury Elementary School and Millcreek Township School District utilize a social and emotional learning curriculum. Our instructional support team provides a framework of multi-tiered support focusing on the whole child; supporting academic, social, behavioral, and emotional needs. Asbury’s school culture is supported by “Team Up to SOAR,” which is a program that focuses on the character traits: Respectful, Responsible, Safe, Caring.  These character traits will lead our students  to current and future success in all facades of their lives. Through our active PTA, social committees, ASB-TV, and student ambassadors, Asbury is  invested in building a balanced community of learners.
